Applause Theatrical Workshops

Our K–3rd Graders will get a taste of all of our hottest after-school classes in this fun-filled week! Throughout the week, campers will take classes in singing, acting, Hip-Hop, Broadway dance, costume & set design, improvisation, and theater games, as well as spend time rehearsing for the end-of-week performance. Each week has a different fun theme with a special afternoon activity on Wednesdays. (Groups will be separated into K & 1st Grade or 2nd – 3rd Grade.)

In addition to all of the activities offered to our younger campers (singing, acting, Hip-Hop, Broadway dance, costume & set design, improvisation, theater games and rehearsal), our 4th – 6th graders will begin to explore our "On-Camera" curriculum (acting for TV and film). They will also work on more advanced singing techniques such as ear training and solo-work.

Our oldest students will get advanced versions of our camp standards: singing, acting, Hip-Hop, Broadway dance, improvisation, theater games and rehearsal, but will focus heavily on our On-Camera curriculum, spending significant time in front of the camera as they make a movie each week that will be screened for the camp and parents on Friday. Because the students will work on an advanced singing curriculum and sophisticated choreography, previous experience in musical theater is recommended, but not required.
