Heather Capelle

Director of Operations

Heather Capelle, Director of Operations, is thrilled to be beginning her seventh year with Broadway Babies/Superstars/Applause and is committed to the company’s mission of educating and inspiring children through the arts of music and theater. It is Heather’s goal to bring this special brand of performing arts to children all over the tri-state area and help them to make their dreams come true, just as hers have. Heather began her career at Broadway Babies in 2002 as a teacher, and quickly went on to become the Birthday Party and Events Coordinator. She served as the General Manager from 2004-2008, and is now the Director of Operations. As the company has expanded, Heather has had the opportunity to open several new locations, including the latest venue in Westchester. She has also written, directed and coordinated several events for the company, including the annual NBC Network Family Holiday Party at Tavern on the Green and the American Museum of Natural History’s Family Party last October. Heather’s sixteen year professional career gives her the knowledge and skills needed to perform, teach, and choreograph for her students, as well as train and nurture new staff members. A member of Actor’s Equity Association and AFTRA, her professional credits include Special Skills, her one-woman show created and written with Martin Charnin, director and lyricist of Annie, several appearances on ABC’s One Life to Live, and roles in over 30 New York and regional theater productions. A proud native of Nash, Oklahoma, Heather holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Theater and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Central Oklahoma.
