Mackenzie is thrilled to have the chance to both teach and musical direct at Broadway Babies/Applause! Mackenzie graduated from Vanderbilt University’s Blair School of Music with a B.M. in music composition, and has composed works for choir, brass, strings, and piano. While acting at Vanderbilt, Mackenzie’s favorite roles included Kathy in Sondheim’s Company and Ophelia in Hamlet. In addition to acting on stage, Mackenzie has appeared in commercials, films, and television. She most recently appeared in Law and Order: Criminal Intent and has become a member of the Screen Actors Guild. Mackenzie is very thankful for this opportunity at Broadway Babies/Applause and believes it’s never to early to develop a love for music and theatre!
